Basquiat, Jimi Hendrix, Sex Pistols, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol and Vivienne Westwood – if you can call these highly inspiring people your friends, it’s pretty clear that your own work is worth an exhibition as well. The work of Thomas Dellert-Dellacroix, better known as Tommy Dollar – a name that Andy Warhol gave him due to his fascination with the American way of life, can now be seen at the Studio Checkpoint Charlie until February 23rd, 2013. “The Mirror has Two Sides – From Monroe to Warhol and back again” includes paintings, photographs and video installations. A Pop Art exhibition at its finest, you can also bring your CYBEX ATON along!
