The latest exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) entitled “David Bowie is” opened its doors in London on March 23, where it continually attracts a tremendous number of visitors. This exhibition honoring the British pop icon allows a peek into Bowie’s wardrobe and explores the retrospective of this international star through videos, photographs and handwritten memorabilia. David Bowie’s career climb is documented from his early days as a teenager to becoming a living, universal work of art. Even though the 66-year-old is not personally involved with the exhibition, it’s nonetheless the most successful show of its kind. Anyone interested in seeing some of Bowie’s extravagant costumes, hand-decorated cigarette boxes, and even old house keys still has time to do so through August 11, 2013. More information is available on the website, where tickets can also be purchased.
