Curious to see some of the most expensive photographies on the art market?
Then hurry up and go for quick weekend trip to the beautiful Rhine city Düsseldorf. At Museum Kunstpalast more than 60 of Gursky’s monumental photographies will be on view until the 3rd February.
The oeuvre of the Düsseldorf-based, internationally renowned photographic artist Andreas Gursky (born in Leipzig in 1955) stands, in contemporary photography, for a new approach to realism by means of conceptualisation or photo montage using digital technology. Also the unusual huge size of Gursky’s photographies stand out for themselves.
And for a quick refreshment afterwards you just need to cross the street and enter the museum café of famous fashion forward NRW Forum – beautiful and tasty.
