Does that sound familiar? You return from shopping. Rather excited you remove the packaging of your new acquisition. You cannot wait to give it a trial. Now there are two different approaches open to you: You can either follow the principle “Try it, you’ll like it” or you can carefully read the instruction manual. When it comes to child car seats, it is essential to use and install the child seat properly for your child’s maximum protection. Once you have picked the right car seat for your child, all you need to do is comply with all the instructions when fitting and securing the child, and you are safe to set off on your journey.
A user guide, also commonly known as a manual, is a very important document intended to give assistance to people using a particular product properly. According to the latest ECE-regulation No. 44 for child restraint systems, exactly specified instructions in the national language of the country, in which the car seat is sold, must be attached to every child car seat. Should the user guide not be attached to the car seat visibly, a special book-symbol which is usually sewed in the textile cover of the car seat indicates, where to find the manual.
Following we have prepared an overview where to find the user guide for our CYBEX child car seats:
Infant carrier ATON 2 / ATON
User guide is stored visibly in a compartment at the bottom of the infant carrier.
Group 0+/I combination car seat SIRONA
You can find the user guide at the back of the backrest, underneath the textile cover. It can easily be taken out by just unzipping the cover.
Group I child car seat JUNO-FIX
You can find the user guide at the back of the backrest, underneath the textile cover. It can easily be taken out by just opening the push buttons.
Group I/II/III child car seats PALLAS 2-FIX / PALLAS 2 / PALLAS-FIX / PALLAS
The user manual is always placed between the safety cushion and the backrest.
Group II/III child car seats SOLUTION X2-FIX / SOLUTION X2 / SOLUTION X-FIX / SOLUTION
The user manual is always placed visibly at the seat cushion.
After having assembled the components of the car seat, we recommend to keep the user guide handy underneath the textile cover at the back of the backrest.
Should the instruction manual gets lost, don’t worry. There are download files on our homepage available covering each and every user guide for the different car seats.
We would be happy if you visit us again next week.
Have a safe and pleasant journey.
