Since “Edward Scissorhands”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Alice in Wonderland” the world has come to know and love Tim Burton. His exhibition, which is named after him, was designed in 2009 by the MoMA in New York. After the great success the exhibition travelled to Melbourne, Toronto and Los Angeles. Now Paris can be happy – Since the 7th of March and up to the 5th of August La Cinémathèque Française is hosting the exhibition. On the one hand it is a great opportunity to watch all of his films. On the other hand one can be excited to explore Burtons talent as a draftsman, painter, video director, photographer and creator of great sculptures. We think it is absolutely worth a visit – and besides, it is in PARIS!
